Beauty Bookworm

I’ll be the first to admit it; I rarely switch off from beauty-based thoughts. My YouTube sub box is crammed with ammunition, a quick tour of my flat serves as a visual reminder that I never need to buy another bathing-related product ever again and my reading material? Yep, you’ve guessed it – on the whole concerns the beauty world once again. And my latest Amazon order only adds fuel to the (mentioned above) fire…

The books in question are by Dalton Wong & Kate Faithfull-Williams, Lisa Potter-Dixon and Dr. Nigma Talib. These were recommended to me by an old colleague aaaages ago and a fair few you guys piped up suggesting these titles too when I mentioned my last read. So I’m now the proud owner of The Feelgood Plan – happier, healthier & slimmer in 15 minutes a day; The Makeup Manual – which does exactly what it says on the tin and Younger Skin Starts in the Gut – 4-week program to identify and eliminate your skin-aging triggers.

Though I’ve yet to get down to a good page flicking sesh with them on first glance they all appear an interesting read, laced with a not-taking-it-too-seriously humour and told in a way that may make you miss your bus stop.

I’ll report back on these. But if the Amazon reviews are anything to go by I’m in for a witty wander through the health & beauty world.
