Bed Head by TIGI After Party

I love big hair. Let’s face it, swishing long, wavy, voluminous locks around is the closest I’ll ever get to being a Victoria Secrets angel – a girl can dream, right? An updated hair care routine post is on it’s way but it’s pretty fair to say that if a product doesn’t have the sole purpose of adding texture or volume then I’m not interested. In my eyes bigger is better and the Bed Head by TIGI After Party* is probably one of the best products I’ve used that fits in with this mantra in a long while.

I have been lusting after this product for what feels like years! In fact I think I was after this product even before I knew Lifestyle existed, those were the innocent days. It has quite a cult following, wins tonnes of awards and is always named as a celebrity favourite. TIGI label it as a smoothing cream for silky & shiny hair, that can be used on damp hair before styling or on dry hair for some instant lift. I have used a fair few smoothing creams in my time and I can hand on my heart say this is the best one I have tried. I find it works best if I apply it on damp hair before I blow-dry it, just a little amount through the lengths and at the crown, I then blow-dry my bonce upside-down and try my best not to fiddle with it too much and I don’t pick up a hairbrush until it’s time to wash my hair again – cue awesome healthy looking hair. This is quite an achievement for me as I have thick hair and a hell of a lot of it so to get any type of lift or texture is a huge result for me. Now word of warning if you have dry hair then this probably isn’t for you. I have quite oily hair so don’t mind the dry texture that it gives my tresses but it does leave your hair on the dry side of proceedings. It gives hair that laid-back ‘I’ve just rolled out of bed but still look hawt’ look.

TIGI products might not come cheap but I’ve seriously loved everything I’ve ever tried from them. I think there are a few sites where you can get it a little cheaper. Have any of you guys tried this? Love it, hate it – I’d love to hear!
