I love soft pink lip gloss but it has been a while since I have found a new one that I feel like I want to wear all the time. Until now!! Ooooh yeah! I am in love with L’Oreal Paris Glam Shine Balmy Gloss Lychee Lust.
Polish – a product that you’ve probably heard me go on about 165 times. In fact it’s a product that I could quite easily write about until the cows come home! I love polishes; the smooth consistency, creamy and wearable colours and the cute bottles, building a collection of them seems quite appealing to me. And boy have I been building a collection and a half – I nearly have a small army of them!
Us blogger lot are a fickle bunch. When I first got into this blogging malarkey it was all about Maybelline, then I moved onto Faces, then had a successful dabble in Lakme (seriously love everything I’ve ever bought from them) and now my newest obsession people, is Revlon. Now I’m also currently lusting over some bits from L’Oreal and Rimmel but Revlon is dominating my makeup charts at the moment. It’s always been a brand that I have been intrigued by; their natural, neutral-toned ethos and lighter formulas have always caught my eye in Lifestyle. But it wasn’t until a month or two ago that I finally took the plunge and purchased the Revlon Photoready BB Cream Skin Perfector and the Photoready Blush Palette in Neutral – both products that I love and have really enjoyed using. I’ve enjoyed using the two Revlon products so much that I have compiled a shopping list of future purchases…whoops!
I made a bit of a deal with myself at the beginning of the year to oil regularly. And you know what, I’ve stuck to it pretty religiously! Every Saturday night before I jump in bed, I slather myself in oil, it all sounds rather sexual, but I assure you it’s not. Previous hair oils that I have used are the Shahnaz Husain Shalocks (this one is probably my all time fave), the Organix Moroccan Light Penetrating Oil and the Organix Anti- Breakage Keratin Oil, all of which I have loved, but I fancied a change. You may have noticed that none of the hair oils mentioned come cheap, in fact they are all bloody expensive so I tried to find a cheaper alternative and ended up getting my hands on the Lotus Herbals Kera-Veda Growoil. In 3 words – I hated it. It had a strange scent of tobacco and didn’t sink into the scalp very well. Then to top it all off, it resulted in terrible hair fall. I don’t usually out poopy products on this blog, but that is certainly one that deserves a slating!
I decided the other day after a pretty successful meeting that I needed a treat, so winged my way to the nearest beauty store to indulge in my first ever hairspray. After knowing this product is used a lot, I finally indulged. The L’Oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray, seemed like the stand-out product. Ok now for the good bit, this 500ml bottle put me back Rs.575, it is almost double the size of other hairsprays & hence the price is justified!

The past few days have a been a bit of a blur, and I will be the first to put my hand up and admit that a fair few purchases have been made – whoops! And there is one thing that I have been dying to share with you guys.
