Here’s the low down on the Maybelline Volum’ Express Falsies Mascara. So first off, this is a beautiful looking mascara. The packaging is so gorgeous and it feels really nice to hold which I think is pretty important for a mascara!

Colorbar Metallic Nail Lacquer Bejewelled

There is something about sporting metallic talons that just makes me feel glamourous, you know? Simple, elegant, chic, but with a touch of ladylikeness about it. Being a nude lover, I don’t have too many polishes to reach for when this mood takes over, so it’s Colorbar’s Bejewelled or nothin’. But I’m OK with that as Bejewelled is fast climbing my Colorbar chart…

Last weekend over a belt-bulging burger, me and one of my best friends A discussed life, love and long-wearing lipstick. A is my neutral lip buddie – she’s always rocking the nude lacquer – so with her in tow we both felt it completely necessary to crack out the colour for a casual trip to Phoenix. So I thought I’d start here with something simple like kajal.

God I love eyeshadow. Cream, powder, sparkly, matte, it doesn’t matter, I love em all! Neutral colours are not the most exciting ones to look at, especially when you go to the likes of MAC or Inglot; I know my eye is instantly drawn to the bright colours, but let’s face it, for most of us, neutrals get the most love everyday.

With a bit of a lust-affair with L’Oreal fresh on my mind – the 6 Oil Nourish Extraordinary Oil worked wonders on my hair out in the sun this Summer – I thought I’d give the L’Oreal Professionnel Wet Domination* a go. It fits the bill as a hair styling product, one of my favourite product categories: they ease the job of a hairspray by holding the style, but work fantastically on their own for lazy ‘don’t give a damn’ days.
