Move along, move along, nothing new to see here! I’m sure that the past few weeks the Beauty Blogging world has been bombarded with posts about Revlon’s latest product offering, as people tend to get a little bit loopy over them. I would say I’m now only a part time member of that gang; I used to have ambitions to own the whole Revlon product line but have now downsized that dream and own a few that I reach for on a daily basis. This means that my Revlon collection mainly consists of blushers and lip glosses, so my latest purchase doesn’t really fit into that mould but I just couldn’t help myself.

Up until a few weeks ago I had sworn allegiance to the MAC 188 to apply my foundation. I had used it for the past 18 months, even brought a back up and couldn’t imagine using anything else to smother foundation over my face every morning. Before that I painted my foundation on with what really was a glorified Big Bazaar paint brush, but at the time I didn’t know any different. It made my foundation look streaky, cakey and never really fully blended it into the skin fully, so when I discovered the MAC 188 it was like a gift from God. There once was a time when I dreamed of having every single nail polish that you could possibly own (like at least 50), have colour co-ordinated, labelled boxes and spend ages in the morning meticulously applying matching colours. I have since come back down to earth, realised that there are only about 10 nail polishes that I like to use on repeat and been on a bit of a nail polish ban since. Back in the day I had one huge box thingy, filled in with a ton of nail polishes that I never really touched, then had a huge clearout and got rid of most of them in a Blog Sale. Now I only own 8 polishes and they are housed in much easier to store sundae box.

If you knew me in real life, then you would have seen me singing the praises of what I think may be my new favourite eye shadow palette. I have been after this palette since it’s release, so when my Mum gifted the Physicians Formula Classic Nude palette  for Rakshabandhan I was a very happy lady indeed. This palette seriously caught my eye and I have to say it was love at first sight…

Lakme Beige Suit with an OPI Come to Paparazzi Ring Finger Accent

Those of you who are beauty bloggers will know the deal, you take around 226 photos of your mug, a product or in my case today, my nails – and there will only be 1 perhaps that you deem ‘blog worthy’. Well this happened to me the other day while I was trying to capture the true beauty of OPI’s Come to Paparazzi, but there was one photo that passed through quality control, that I actually thought was cool enough to share..

It’s beautiful!! The primer on the left is soft, creamy and ‘second-skin’ blendable and the eye shadow shades are…well…you can see! They are just stunning! Super pigmented, softly metallic and extremely impactful!!
