Coral Cheeks

I’m afraid it’s yet another minimal product FOTD! What am I like? I blame this on my mascara – I absolutely love it, it makes me look ‘done’ without a spot of makeup on so I really don’t feel the need to slap too much on. In fact I’ve only been applying bb cream where I need some extra coverage on the centre of my face, which is unheard of for me.

On the rest of my face I’ve been lightly applying Revlon Photoready BB Cream in the shade Light and a bit of the Almay Line Smoothing Concealer in Light/Medium under my eyes and around the corners of my nose. For my eyebrows and eyelashes I have just been combing them through with a brow comb, putting Revlon Grow Luscious mascara on. My favourite bit of this makeup has to be the cheeks; ever since I got the Maybelline Cheeky Glow in Creamy Cinnamon my love for blushers has been reignited and I’ve been rediscovering some absolute crackers in my collection. My newest favourite is the Maybelline Cheeky Glow in Fresh Coral, it’s a pretty peachy coral that’s nice and warm toned so it sits well with my skintone. It’s a powder formula and leaves a gorgeous colour on the cheeks – no need for a highlighter at all. On the lips I’ve just been throwing on the Revlon ColorStay Mineral Lipglaze in the shade Perennial Pink and out the door I trot.

I think this might be an all time record for a FOTD – 5 products! But like I said in my case mascara has made me reach for rather minimal makeup and I have to say I’m quite liking the flushed blush look. So what have you ladies been using this week? Any blush recommendations?
