Poring Over Palettes

I’m a few months late to this bandwagon but my YouTube feed was full of ‘The Perfect Palette’ videos & I thought I’d also take a jab at this on my blog instead. So here’s a bit of poring over my palettes if you will. All my favourites clubbed together in one post & surprise, surprise they’re all neutral. Oh c’mon, what else did you expect? 😝

Maybelline The Nudes Palette

Let’s start with the most bruised & used of them all, Maybelline The Nudes Palette. In my eyes, the best & perhaps even my favourite of them all. It’s got a bit of everything in there: taupes, browns, golds, burgundy and hell even a charcoal black. Plus I’ll never forget the excitement I experienced when I first got my hands on it. Palette porn at its best!

Studiowest Goldmine

A close 2nd, lagging behind because it’s availability status gives it a fleeting appearance in the beauty world is the Studiowest Maya Crystal Eyeshadow Trio in Goldmine. That plum on the left of the line-up is fast becoming a favourite & it certainly wins the prize for the most affordable eyeshadow trio ever purchased.

Chambor Glowing Earth Palette

Another difficult-to-find product that makes the cut is the Chamber Eyeshadow Trio in Glowing Earth. Again, a hard to find bad boy but well worth exploring. A copper shimmer, a rust in semi-shimmer & a taupe in pearl finish makes for a comprehensive trio that has the whole day-to-night makeup thing sorted.

Palettes closed. Over & out!
