Move along, move along, nothing new to see here! I’m sure that the past few weeks the Beauty Blogging world has been bombarded with posts about Revlon’s latest product offering, as people tend to get a little bit loopy over them. I would say I’m now only a part time member of that gang; I used to have ambitions to own the whole Revlon product line but have now downsized that dream and own a few that I reach for on a daily basis. This means that my Revlon collection mainly consists of blushers and lip glosses, so my latest purchase doesn’t really fit into that mould but I just couldn’t help myself.
Revlon Photoready BB Cream promises to be a moisturiser that delivers a hint of colour and coverage and also primes the skin. It contains Glycerin, Mineral Pigments and SPF 30. I am loving the high SPF. So it comes in 3 shades – Light, Light/Medium & Medium. I have Light and it is perfect!
It adds a nice amount of sheer coverage and has a great mattifying effect. As promised, it does blur the appearance of my enlarged pores – the thing I hate most about my skin. It has a very light feel and I forget I’m wearing it. I think it would work well under foundation for a really flawless and protected finish or for easy makeup days for a nice relaxed look.
