Sayonara, winter! Spring is upon us and the electric oranges and palm tree greens are calling my name. So I thought I’d weigh in on my favorite polishes to wear this season, and ask my the age old question: “Is there such a thing as Millennial Lavender?”
Faces Hi Shine Nail Enamel in Apricot Orange – During spring, I wear bright colours that feel at-home in the warmer weather. Bright orange is cheerful, but different than the more expected pinks and reds. Plus, this Faces formula is more durable than regular polish, making it last longer (a major pro always, but especially when it’s spring and you want to be out and about, not cooped up in a salon chair).
Lakme Absolute Gel Stylist in Coral Rush – I like a bright fun coral for spring as my wardrobe gets lighter and more colorful. Lakme remains my favorite nail polish brand because of the way the colours just easily go and stay on. So its peach-pink coral is my fave go-to to liven things up. (If I’m feeling really jazzy, I’ll add a glitter top coat too. Spring is the time to be loud with your style).
Sally Hansen Triple Shine Nail Colour in Drama Sheen – There’s never really just one colour I stick to in spring, to be honest—it’s my one concession to colour given I’m usually still clad completely in black from head to toe. But I like this pastel shade. The purple hits the sweet spot between lilac and grey. Is there such a thing as Millennial Lavender? I guess this is it.
Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel in Balsam Fir – This palm tree coloured polish works like colour correcting concealer for my reddish hands. Spring polish doesn’t always have to be bright.
