Travel Beauty Essentials

Ah me, I just love those trains don’t I? If I’m not commuting to and from work on them in the week, then I’m trekking up North to see relatives at the weekend! You can’t tear me away! I’ve actually become quite the expert packer when it comes to my travel suitcase. And when it comes to makeup I now really know what is a must-have and what can be left at home (aka ‘no I do not need four lipsticks for a weekend break’). Let me show you the two things which are always the first things I pack.

The Lakme Eyeconic Kajal is a product that it took me awhile to make my mind up on. I actually even considered including it in a ‘products I regret buying’ post at one point – ah the horror! But now it’s a daily essential for me; something that I always carry in my bag and always remember to take on long journeys with me. It’s a smudge-proof, water-proof dermatologically-tested kajal. I use this on my lids and my waterline as well. This little stick has lasted me well over a year as it’s not the type of kajal that you need to reapply all the time, once every few hours is enough. The next product is Lakme’s Skin Gloss Creme, a supposed favourite of Bebo herself. Aside from using this as an occasional makeup remover I use it as a re-moisturising face cream on the train. Ok it might get you a few stares, but your skin feels amazing afterwards.

The Lakme Eyeconic Kajal can be purchased for Rs.200 and the Lakme Skin Gloss Creme for Rs.199 from Lakme counters. What are your travel essentials?
