Don’t say I never give you anything for today I have a handy little list up my sleeve for all those VLCC fans out there. Always wanted to dive in but didn’t know where to start? Maybe you just need to replenish your VLCC stocks? Whatever your situ I’ve got a solution. I’ve listed my top players from the range below just in case you need any inspiration:
VLCC Snigdha Skin Whitening Face Mask Aloe Vera & Lemon – Rs.155. As mentioned in my Top 10 Budget Products video, this stuff is the fodder of radiating and clarifying dreams. As most people are aware, Aloe Vera is great moisturiser for the skin. Lemon provides the radiance aspect of this mask. The instructions are to apply this mask to clean, dry skin, leave for 10 minutes and remove any excess with a tissue or damp cotton pad and then rinse. I love applying face masks, while it’s on I leave my phone etc. alone and relax for the duration. This mask feels nice on my skin, there’s no drying or tingling. The mask is also easy to remove and leaves no residue or tackiness, my skin feels lovely and soft afterwards and I did notice after a couple of uses that my skin did look more radiant than usual.
VLCC Ultra Radiance Tinted Sunscreen Souffle SPF50 – Rs.399. As reviewed here, this is a great introduction to the VLCC skincare family. I’m something of a sun cream connoisseur and I have to tell you that despite the budget price VLCC is not just the best budget sun cream, it’s the best sun cream I’ve ever tried of any price. Not only due to the 5 star, ultra UVA, SPF 50 protection that it offers, but because within approximately a minute of application it completely disappears and leaves skin feeling totally dry. Unlike most sun creams that leave a stickiness to the skin, VLCC completely absorbs within seconds so that you can apply makeup directly over it immediately. At the same time, you can get dressed without fearing that you’ll stain your clothes as there is simply no residue whatsoever left on your skin. If you’ve had as many white T shirts and shirts stained with sun cream as I have, you’ll know this is a huge advantage!
VLCC Shape Up Oil – Rs.255. I’m loving this body oil at the moment; it feels almost warming when I massage it in and the texture is just really pleasant! Non-greasy, fast-absorbing but with just enough slip to allow you to get the circulation going. I use it on thighs and bottom and whatever is left over on the palms of my hands I use on my tummy! The essential oils included in the formula apparently help to stimulate circulation and help with drainage, but I can tell you right now that no lotion or cream will really slim you. Not on its own, at least! That said, I’m a great believer in dedicated anti-cellulite oils, gels and creams, not only because they remind me to target a specific area and allow me to get into a daily massaging routine but because I do think that they help to tone and firm up the skin, improving the general appearance of lumps and bumps. Every little helps, in my opinion!
